Meet Us At WordCamp Asia 2020
The largest WordPress community in Asia will be gathering for the first-ever regional WordCamp in Asia

Location: TRUE ICON HALL @ ICONSIAM, Bangkok, Thailand.
In less than a month, around 1400 WordPress enthusiasts from a different background: from beginners to web designers & developers, and to the ultimate webmasters will be gathering.
One of the organizers for WordCamp Asia 2020 is the trainer at MU DOT MY, Sam Suresh and he also a member of WordPress Community Deputies. If you’re attending WordCamp Asia 2020, get in touch with him. It will be an amazing session and it was simply a fun meeting and catching up with people all around Asia.
Due to the high demand, the ticket was sold out rapidly in a short amount of time. The first released tickets were completely sold out in December 2019. An additional batch of micro sponsor tickets was released on January 11, 2020, but sold out in less than 15 minutes, which shows the community’s huge interest and excitement for this WordCamp. The contributor day free ticket registration was first released on January 9, 2020. It was also sold out in just a little under 15 minutes! To overcome this situation, the last batch of contributor day tickets will be released on January 30, at 22:00 Bangkok time.
This upcoming WordCamp Asia in Bangkok will start with Contributor Day on 21st February 2020. The best way to learn about the project even though you don’t know anything regarding WordPress is by joining the contributor Day. The schedule for WordCamp Asia was released on January 13 which included all the details that are going to happen on that day. Furthermore, the Conference Day happens to be on the next two days which is on February 22 and 23, 2020.
There are 40 talks, 11 lightning talks and a panel discussion. The most awaited session is a keynote talk from Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress. This is glorious news to all WordPress community!
Other than joining the talks, attendees can also experience this first flagship WordCamp for Asia through other activities, such as KidsCamp, Community Bazaar, and Tribe Meetups. Parents who are attending WordCamp Asia can bring their junior website creators along and enjoy a day of parent-child learning under the direction of some of the WordPress experts! To encourage more of such interactions to happen, you can showcase your local or online community at Community Bazaar and also join the Tribe Meetups discussion.
WordCamps are designed for all people who are interested and already in the WordPress field so there’s no reason not to give one a try. The more you don’t know, the more you’ll need to learn from the experience. There’s no better way to understand the platform as a whole and to connect within the community who you would possibly not otherwise have met.
